Tractor Rally
August 14, 2021 - St Iestyn Church, Llaniestyn
A charity fun tractor rally for the community was held in support of the restoration of St Iestyn Church, Llaniestyn.
Just over £4,600 was raised on the day via Raffle, Stalls, Cakes and Produce, Hog Roast from Hogs Mon and the Tractors!

The prizes awarded are as follows;
Oldest Tractor -Grey Ferguson 1948 TEA 20 driven by Frank Roberts
Tractor in need of TLC - Massey Ferguson 35X driven by Will Roberts
Best Decorated Tractor - The Witches of Llanddona Ford New Holland driven by Richard Parry
Shiniest - Nuffield 1042 driven by Dafydd Humphries
Bonus prize for the only Lady Drivers - Nia & Lowri!

The rally covered 25 miles of scenic welsh countryside with off-road sections through Mynydd Llwydiarth, Wern y Wylan Forest, through Beaumaris, stopping in Haufre Nursing Home and then down to Llanddona Beach for choc ices handed out from the Beach Cafe. to finish at the Owain Glyndwr Pub with live music from Monswn and a Hog Roast donated by Hogs Mon. An estimated crowd of 300 people turned out to support and cheer from start, along the route and at the finish.
Reverend Lesley Rendle quoted "You cannot put a number on all those who saw the tractors going past and the resulting awareness raised and you can't weigh the smiles on the day!"
